Tata Launches Indicom IN TN, Awaits RoW (first phase of the launch will cover 25 markets by mid-2003) NOVEMBER 19, 2002 12:00AM FINANCIAL TIMES LIMITED, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) has launched its services branded Tata Indicom. The services include CDMA mobile, fixed wireless, wireless in local loop (WLL) services, wireline and data services as well as ISDN, digital subscriber line (DSL), integrated telecom solutions and virtual private networks. The first phase of the launch will cover 25 markets by mid-2003. This will include Coimbatore, Erode, Salem and Chennai. The rest of the State will be covered in a phased manner over the next five years. The company had applied for right of way (RoW) clearance from the Government of Tamil Nadu over a year ago. wirelessweek.com
