Swift Chooses Equant, InfoNet As Principal Suppliers Monday December 2, 7:45 am ET biz.yahoo.com LONDON -(Dow Jones)- The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication SCRL, or Swift, Monday named as principal suppliers Colt Telecom Group PLC , Equant NV and Infonet Services Corp (NYSE:IN) . Swift said negotiations were continuing with a fourth company it identified only as a "well-established provider." Swift changed its network strategy earlier in 2002, ending a single-company contract with Global Crossing Ltd . Swift is a co-operative based in Belgium owned by the banking industry that provides secure messaging services.
