I don't get the toll road or diamond lane concepts. They're stupid, IMHO. Overall traffic would be improved if all available lanes were used to move it. Period. The diamond lane concept is supposed to encourage car pools. That's nice; however, some of us have no way to carpool, so it's irrelevant. Personally, I'm in favor of limiting the times when trucks can travel on the freeway and requiring special inspections and/or licenses before you can enter the freeway. There is no end to the stalled cars, or those which can't exceed 45mph, on the road, which contribute to accidents and overall problems.
