Stop and ask yourself, "Why?" Why, on Earth, would the Bush administration not trust Saddam Hussein when he promises "total cooperation"?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Saddam ALREADY promise total cooperation, back in '91, and fail to deliver?


Why go through the UN sharade if he is going to go around the globe undermining it and making a case for war before the resolution just passed by the UN which calls for inspections and declarations, for which the US fought so hard and to which the US is a signature, has not even begun? Here's a riddle answer for you...it is a three letter word and the first two are vowels.

But here's his problem now. The boss never expected the other guys to call his bluff. And so now his secretary of offense and he go around beating the war drum and insulting the UN.
