tommorow is a GANN date and then a cluster beginning of next week. I think the Bradly is also reversing next week

when the SPX was near it's top(~1530 or so), I was kinda keeping an eye on a "negated" situation .. it think the the NDX was a negated sell signal at that time. It then fell more than 60% ..

Months later, as we were, again, at one of those "negated" (or almost) times, and I tried looking back at other "negated" times ..

These times seem to be extremes in his "whatever" system (cycles, candles, strings, momo and or whoknows). Times it would have been good to jump on the signal with both feet ..

At least that's what I seem to recall .. could be wrong .. perhaps you could do a scan of the entire SI database looking for the word "negated." and check the record ..

now why he would say the other way .. heck if I know ..

His current major sell signal, right now, is the weekly signal. The "buy in time" for this signal is the highs of this week.

I presume that he added more shorts at the close of today with more room to add over the next couple of days, if we go higher.

JOSEPH, there are two very simple yet reliable rules to determine tops and bottoms:

(1) TOP: Percent Bearish falls below 25
(2) BOTTOM: Percent Bearish rises above 40

see this chart and look at the last 5 years:
schaeffersresearch.com

These Percents refer to newsletter writers (aka advisory services). We hit below 25 just 7 times in the last 5 years (including today). We hit above 40 just 5 times in the last 5 years (including around 10/10).
