Or maybe it was :

So, I guess if you want to be real scientific about the "prediction" ...

It would be :

A seller of naked short put options on the S&P 500 should have "smooth sailing" for a long, long time; beginning in July 2002.

If we go sideways for 16 years, that seller of puts would still make a lot of money !

MM The problem Ive found with most is their absolute stublorness in maintaining 1 position or the other. i have made a nice return since OCT, and I will be exiting out of the way. We will soon establish a big trading range that will dictate markets for a generation IMHO. I think SP 1000 is the top of that range.
