It is so strange that you mention Louis L'Amour.
I thought he was a writer for old folks who had nothing better to read.

I've read a few of his books and am now hooked. He can spin a yarn.

Just wanted to mention that instead of reading "The Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve to us when we were kids, my Dad always read "The Cremation of Sam McGee."
