same thing with a kitchen knife... My neighbor came over a few weeks ago.. Cut her finger real bad and wanted me to take her to the med center.. She called and they were open for another 20 minutes and ok to come in... I drive her up there only five minutes from our house... After waiting 15 minutes doctor comes out and says I cannot take you I am closing up.. We have dinner guests tonight and I promised my wife I would be home on time. (8pm).. I couldn't believe what I heard.. My neighbor works in medical claims insurance .. so she didn't get upset ,, Says she sees stuff like that come across her desk all the time... How long to put a few stiches in the cut and maybe get a shot... Off to hospital emergency room... I guess the cost of going under hmo is really , really expensive vs med ctr.. well. four hours later we come out with a few stiches... see ya... got to run .. skip breakfast.. next time
