Well, thanks at least for confirming my point. You do not treat people with respect out of fear of material harm, you do so because they deserve it, as people. Remember the Categorical Imperative: never treat another rational being merely as a means, but as an end also. Or, to put it bluntly, have a little class, why don't you?
