He is been spot on with his calls on the economy the last couple of years. The semi book to bill ratio indicates to
me that there is no evidence of a tech recovery, this rally
notwithstanding.

Liz, usually it's journalists, many of whom probably didn't know what a bear market was until last year, getting it wrong. But the Chief Economist of Morgan Stanley getting it wrong is just sad. He has lots of company, though.
