I agree, but I wondered if you had ever seen a turn back when we are this close. I can't recall or find one, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. More importantly, it almost always gets pierced by a tad and I think we are too close on the comp to miss that one too. So do you know of any times when the comp has been this close to the 200 sma and turned back down? Also, the season really does matter. 10% corrections are rare this time of the year. They DO happen however.(please, no one post examples, most of us aren't idiots..I said they exist) A sell off down to max pain makes the most sense. The q's are more volatile so they could get there, while the comp and ndx hold at 7% losses, and then reignite after xmas.

Another issue is the removal of a bunch of dogs from the ndx 100 the first week of dec. I have the list of assumed removals. A bunch of them have really moved a ton. They should get hit after this Friday.(You guys all know there is a huge upward bias the day before Thanksgiving and the day after, mind you its eom)
