If you claim not to be naive, then you must think that E, jla, Laz, and some others aren't decent people. Your remark was that "Certainly, if CH "came clean"...TRULY CLEAN...he would attract the respect of all decent people. " If you believe I could say anything at all, whatever you mean by coming clean, and I have no idea what you mean by that, but even if I did it, if you believe jla or E or Laz would suddenly respect me, you are indeed naive. So either you're naive, or you don't think they're decent people. Take your pick.
