MADD I think MADD has reached it's logical end and should disband. They are a classic case of an organization that saw a problem, proposed a solution and got the result. Then they decided to pick a more stringent problem, push on that, and got more laws. Then they look for even more temperance activities, they don't know when to quit. The real problem with drinking and driving these days is not that drunks don't get enough punishment, it's that there is no alternatives to driving in most of the country. If MADD wanted to really help they would be pushing mass transit instead of traffic stops. TP
