If you don't see the obvious enabling relationship for your side, then you haven't really looked. You enable each other to perceive reality in the same way. You make each other more comfortable that your way is the "right" way to view the events on this thread, on this website, in this cyberworld. I would have thought that was fairly obvious. We all "enable" the people with whom we agree. You can see that in X and CH, but are unable to see it in Solon/E, and Solon/Jewel, and Jewel/E. I wonder why that is? Self serving myopia?

Actually, Jewel, you and I have had many heated disagreements. We disagree on probably more issues of the political, social sort that are discussed on SI that we agree on.

I'm able to respect those I disagree with and disrespect those I often agree with, and you are, too.
