With common shareholders lowest on the totem pole of a bankrupt concern with huge debt, a history of fraud and duplicity, and even doubt about what DEBT holders are going to get, is there ANY reason (other than blind hope) for being optimistic about any value left for common holders?

Namaste!

Cramer ranting again:

By James J. Cramer,

Maybe, just maybe, we will get some relief from the penny-stock hell that we find ourselves trapped in, now that The Wall Street Journal has written about the problem.

For the better part of two years now, I have been railing against this ridiculous trading of worthless securities. Heavily indebted companies that file for bankruptcy, cases where it's known that the common stock will be wiped out, ought to have that common stock cancelled.
