school activities We are not reaching these kids with the present school system, and, IMO, we will never reach them the way we are going because the school system is in denial about it. I see nothing in the future but a tough policing system, al la Bill Bratton, to jail the worst, and throw the fear of God into the rest. I hate to be so negative about it, but I fear that the ghetto school system is going to have to get even worse before the will to fix it is there.
