I think that is just another excuse for lack of accountability. I am responsible for any foreseeable result of my actions, including words, unless under exigent circumstances forcing me to act (speak). Since people's responses are not purely arbitrary, and people are likely to react with offense at such remarks,all the more following the demise of the person in question, if one makes the remark unnecessarily, one is liable for the offense given. One might feel justified, but one should at least expect the usual marks of hostility.....
