Now we just got the 'last' rate cut (read that Bernanke speech in its entirety).

I think caution is warranted here -- a jam through the end of the year is not impossible -- or even one extending into February. Stops for shorts and saving powder for puts is absolutely essential. Early on shorts here == creamed.

2nd leg up is starting -- gonna be like '98 with one crucial difference -- the END looms. I think lots of bears are getting ready for the surprise of their life in the coming weeks ... don't be heavily short here, IMO.
