But to be afraid he has to know that a) the "blind" person isn't blind, and b) that he has some abilty to hurt him, a weapon of some kind, or is intimidating or for some reason is to be feared even though he is outside the building (as I recall that was your scenario) so the guy could just duck and cover.

But frankly, I think we've pretty much exhausted the benefits of hammering out that scenario.
