Speaking of rentals, I checked out Santana Row for the first time today. I'm predicting it will be a flop both as a rental apartment complex and as a retail center. Whatever were they thinking, building a maximally upscale mall outdoors, with an active roadway running right down the middle of it, and with no real central public area.
