So I lied. Cast the first stone he who has not lied.

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone at her". is from John 8 and "judge not lest ye be judged" is from Mathew 7 and Luke 6. "Ye be judged according to your judgments" (approx) is from Corinthians and "as you mete so shall it be meted unto you" approx (golden rule) is from Luke. "Don't you know that the saints shall judge the world" (approx) Corinthians.

Mathew Mark, Luke and John. Side streets in Montreal.

Bible is a great book of philosophy and wisdom. I don't know anyone who has read it seriously or understands what it really means by half of what they have heard it says, but I recommend it to anyone as a pastime to read.

Saint Judge.

From Leviticus (Chapter VI):-

12: And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
13: The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
14: And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, before the altar.
15: And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.
16: And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.
17: It shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.
18: All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.

It looks like the temples of old must have had very sooty-looking and greasy walls and tabernacles arising from all offerings which had to be burnt in order to be acceptable to the Lord. But the Bible makes no mention of sooty walls and greasy walls etc. I wonder why! I suppose the high priests have had lots of varsol to clean away all the greasiness everyday!!!

E. -John 8:7 "So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." King James Bible

"let he who is without sin cast the first stone", is from the apocrypha, you won't find it in the KJ, E. Charters

The first stone
or
The last stone

let he who is without sin cast the first stone then line up in order of your evilness to see who gets to throw the last one

I really didn't know about the two crops you are out rule, that will be bad news for the local farming community, much gnashing of teeth.

Am still awaiting the ton of gold, I expect to see Mahmoud any day, as soon as I get the gold I will change the name of the thread.

<<an eye for an eye>> works out well for the blind
