No crutches, I am hobbling around just fine. Besides which, I have lots of help. Nick got up early and made the cranberry sauce and the homemade yeast rolls. Chris makes the root veggies and braises the baby onions. Last night we peeled all the baby onions so they are ready to go (you have to drop them into boiling water to loosen the skin, and even so it takes quite a while for two people to peel three or four pounds of pearl onions.) My mother made the dressing and the squash casserole. Many hands make light work.
