Hehehe You responded exactly as SOROS said you would.

SOROS - "I'm sure I will be tuned out and criticized as a pessimist, a trouble-maker, etc. People will say, "This is Thanksgiving. Can't you just be thankful and love everyone?"

YOU - Even if you want to take it upon yourself to label a particular person or action as sinful, try not to judge whole classes of people as not worthy of God's graces. And try not to let envy of the material wealth of others cause you to assume they are not deserving of that wealth.

And try to have a happy Thanksgiving.

ROTFLMAO! None are so blind as those who WILL not see. He said nothing derogatory for you to be so defensive. I immdiately thought you are a financial person contributing nothing to Society, only taking all the time. Your post is so defensive I just have to laugh for you.

Within the message SOROS posted is a truth so shining and bright and so close and so easy to get it has to be blinding you for you not to see. He did not Judge anyone, it is not his place. You will be judged. No question. And it will be by a Lord who has told you how to live, how to get to heaven and the rewards that await you there. If you ignore this it is all on you, not SOROS. He is merely spreading the Word as we are supposed to do.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Advent starts in just a few days, use this time to reflect on the promise this season makes to all of us. He came for us, died for us and will be back for us.

Bob,

Since you misinterpreted my remarks completely the first time, I suppose it would do no good to explain again. Nowhere in my message was there even a tiny "smack of envy or ill-will" towards Mark. To the contrary, I made a genuine complement of his well done message. The observations I made were general in nature and not directed at him. I was not trying to make a connection -- simply an observation of current trends.

Nowhere did I say that everyone in the financial sector served no purpose or 100% were evil. I did say that the system that operates today is replete with corruption and offers those at the top ways to operate with powers that our forefathers never intended, and if the example of the $15,000 wine for lunch seems reasonable to you, then I have no further comment.

I also did not classify an entire group as "not worthy of God's graces", but did make the remark that those who operate at the top using immoral behaviors seem to have no heart to even work on, and I think this would stand up in court based on prior actions.

Lastly, I have no envy for those that truly work (with brains or brawn) to earn what might be considered even an opulent lifestyle. But I do have contempt for those that prey on hard-working middle to upper class people just because they can and use the "legal" theft to support outrageous habits and lifestyles.

I remain,

SOROS

P. S. Sorry I offended you, but by your post, I'll bet there are many things in the Bible which offend you. I did not write the book.
