"Ill-will towards Mark?" Who said anything about Mark? It is the people of the world who you judge to be unworthy, because they aren't "true Christians" or aren't Christian at all, that you seem to bear some ill-will toward. And yes, you DID label the financial sector as serving no purpose and you comments DID smack of envy:

These aren’t people who have produced products or services that improved the quality of life for other people. They haven’t discovered the cure for some dread disease. They haven’t invented something. Why is all this money coming to them?

Lastly, nothing about the Bible offends me. It is how some people misuse it that offends. Mark's message was one of thankfulness and generosity, not envy and judgement. Even the story Mark shared was about opening hands and heart to others, not for fear of judgement, but for the goodness that is inherent in doing so.

Similarly, faith is something that should be encouraged, not by smacking people with the Bible and telling them they will burn in Hell if they don't accept your interpretations of it, but by showing them the goodness that can come from opening your heart to that faith. And don't be so arrogant as to assume you know the only truth. Even within the Christian faith, there are many interpretations of "the truth."
