Paramilitary... Do you also remember military style uniforms, ranks, badges ie medals, survival skills, etc. A couple of other posters talked about learning to make firecracker "bombs" and gunpowder..outside of the scout syllabus I'm sure...

The American left's war on boys is a part of their general war on America. They use "Gay Rights" as a weapon, along with "sexual harrassment". The lesbian feminist movement just LOVES all this. Most Americans put up with it, and then hit back subtly-such as the 2002 election. The eventual reaction to the deviant assault on the American culture will end very, very badly for the American left. I have warned them often enough. But I know it does no good. They will suffer their fate over the next 15 to 30 years. They certainly DESERVE it...
