Don't you understand that the president's rhetoric is the ONLY possibility we have for avoiding a war? When things seem to be going the way you just describe above the rhetoric escalates. Witness today's speeches by Bush and Cheney, Wolfowitz on a wirlwind tour, etc... Cooperation is the last thing these guys hope for. They want exactly non cooperation so their job of justifying war is made easy. and if they don't get it, they will create fabrications, innuendo and trumped up charges. It is amazing to me that you and many other liberals don't understand this basic fact. You must still believe in the easter bunny. My mom told me the truth a long time ago. Iraq isn't ALLOWING anything. This is an irrelevant to the point being made. Ok. It's been shoved down it's throat under threat...is this not what we wanted? A new resolution, inspections, a declaration. We are getting them. Now Bush should find another cause, memorize another two ine speech, regurgitate it every where he goes and bla, bla, bla, and let the inspectors do their jobs without interference. Al
