I certainly agree with that. I wonder if it's possible for humans to work cooperatively.

It's possible and it happens a lot. It's visible in the news with catastrophic events like hurricanes, tornados, etc. IMO, people carry with them two values [of many] "what's in it for me" and "what's best for all". For some, the two values are the same. You won't see a lot of cooperation.

The streets and the sidewalks are the best places to witness the two values in day to day operation. People have to interact on that infrastructure. How do they cooperate on the highway?
