" I keep hearing different scientific conclusions every few years" That's what science is all about...running experiments, making observations, doing measurements and changing preexisting results whenever possible... That's what makes it so different from religion.....you ever change a religious belief because someone presented you with new data??? I can see why you were a "once would be scientist". Scientists can become politicized but not science.... HIV and cancer are political causes???? Last I knew they were life threatening diseases still demanding a lot of work to find better treatments and cures.... Your politics and religion may tell you they are god's way of punishing sinners and liberals....ggg I'm afraid your thinking is as outmoded as your typewriter...
