<< I am not an Arab! >>

You say that as if it would be the worst thing that could possibly happen to you.

Buts........ I did not say you were an Arab. I wouldn't call my worst enemy an Arab!

What I said, my comprehension challenged friend, was:

===> "Sounds like sour grapes to me. How many battles did your ancestors endure, and, did they ever win one?" <===

I have no idea what make, or model, you are, but I assume you had ancestors, and assume that they had some battles during the vast recesses of history. Did your ancestors ever win a battle? Did any of your ancestors descendents survive?

<< One very good reason why the Arabs did not succeed was their implicit trust in Allah to work miracles for them. >>

And the Jews did not have trust in their God?

<< Another reason for their failure is that behind an external front of solidarity, the Arab leaders don't trust
each other much.
>>

Hey! Who cares? There were hundreds of thousands of nasty smelling, dim-witted, illiterate, fully armed Arabs attacking 80,000 badly trained and equipped Jews. Also, some of these unwashed Arabs had names like Len and Gustave and Thomas. How would you explain that!?

<< Rightly or wrongly, I heard that the Arab leaders are too much taken up with their own ease and comfort and are not doing much to improve the social conditions of the have-nots. >>

An antiSemite finding fault with Arab leaders!? This is quite a surprise.

<< Did you know that heavily armed Italians were defeated by the poorly armed Greeks in the 1940s. I suppose you would say a miracle happened then for the Greeks? >>

I didn't know that. But, miracles happen all the time. Most of them have a logical explanation.

<< To return to the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Israelis won because they were united and had a set goal and to them it was very serious business to ensure they survive. That's the difference. Miracle? Bah humbug! >>

What is your hangup with the word miracle? There have been many miraculous occurences in life.

Miracle: Any amazing or wonderful occurrence.

For a small band of poorly armed Jews to defeat the combined, heavily armed forces of five Arab nations, was truly miraculous. If you were a gambling man, you would have been betting against the Jews, at that time.
