Russ:

Glad to be " on the same wavelength" I have been eyeballin'
GBU for some time, haven't moved yet.

Unfortunately, I have been taking a bath in a couple of Hunter Dickinson plays that have reduced my expected capital, Ahr and Fan. Both appear to be suffering from being just one of many plays in the stable and I might add that my confidence in HD has diminished considerably. It appears that the focus of the HD group is to feed the HD corporate entity and that takes precedent over the individual stock plays. This may have a bearing on your Anooraq and or Rockwell plays and let's not forget the great quest for "high grade" at the Pebble project.
All the while the parent company benefits in management fees and becomes a third party on property agreements as HD gets the property and the subsidiary then must get it from the parent, after reimbursing the parent for all its costs, of course. Those getting and doing the financings seem to be getting cheap paper but my shares go nowhere but into more dilution. They also seem to practice selective disclosure, eg: Amarc announced a drill program in a March 02 press release but NEVER put out a press release on the results. No, instead they mentioned that the holes were duds in the management's discussion section of their annual report, six months later!!!

To me that demonstrates a probable compliance with laws and a definite ethical failure, a poor sign, particularly for such major players.

Is the structure of the deals in HD'S stable of companies acting as a discount on their plays ? I'm not sure but it will be for me from now on.

Thanks for letting me lurk and all the magnanimous sharing that goes on here amongst so many!

Cheers,Ogi

Russ,
I saw a mainstream publication on Gabriel the other day within last 2-3 weeks.(maybe on discovery channel) A huge amount of local area protest against building a mine there. Kind of like the Ol Mango Grove situation with the company in Peru or wherever. You know what I mean.
