So growth in China can be incredible for INTEL or AMD

Yep,every rice paddy farmer in China is going to buy a PC next year.
Right after they buy 3 mobile phones.

PC growth is DEAD.
Plain and simple.
Pricing power but have chosen not to use it? This is lunacy.

T2 You have totally gone off the ever loving deep end and are now blasting towards Mars.

Earth to T2. Come back.

t2 mish is right. The view the China population is so huge the market is limitless is typical techhead fantasy, what are they thinking that these billions are affluent Boomers ??????.
aj, would know MUCH better than me, but i know like 10 years ago the villages had community TV. So maybe they will have a community cellphone and a community PC, or like 5 PCs. Max
China i do not think has a great desire to be feeding chinese money into Intel and AMD or all the other tech companies pouring into China thinking this is the 'motherlode'. i think this rush to strike it rich by tech companies in China will have a disappointing end.
Hey, "this China is the the next area of explosive growth for U.S. tech companies", has been going on for 4 years at least. A carrot on a string, imo, and fewer and fewer rabbits are chasing this carrot, they are getting to be wise bunnies:) Max
