Sergio, since the Dems were soundly defeated this election I don't see much chances that such proposals are to receive much attention apart from the media. And Republicans have usually be a rather fan of HMOs.. they see them as transmission mechanisms for private-provisioned medicine, even if the government is aiding the process. Thus, I think this could be a factor again in 2 years - each congressional election cycle.. Yes, summing up I seemed to have arrived at the same conclusion as you did. Le me here again congratulate JoeinIowa for this pick. Sometimes you have to be patient when you want to be frugal.. rgrds CROSSY
