Hi LindyBill; Re "We get such a mix of people from all over the world that you get to know where they are from by the way they walk and their attitude."

I sat down once in a Venice (Italy, not California) eatery and when the staff brought me out a water glass I noticed that only the Americans were getting that style of glass. The Germans were getting mugs while the French received wine glasses. All this without a word being exchanged.

I would guess that if I worked in a place like that the differences would eventually become not just obvious but glaringly obvious. All this applies to the Asians as well. For example, it's easy to pick out the Mainland Chinese tourists when they're in Hong Kong.

P.S. Tourists are fun. I like to tell foreigners that the Grand Canyon was carved by runoff as a consequence of over grazing and bad land management during the Dustbowl.
