"Bigfoot is Dead"

Here's the REALLY important Northwest news:

Bighoax: The abominable truth can finally be told

.... The truth can finally be told, according to Wallace's family members. He orchestrated the prank that created Bigfoot in 1958.

It's kind of sad to lose a popular myth like this, especially for Oregon and Washington folks.

I wonder if anyone will write a "Yes, Virginia" letter for all of us Bigfoot fanciers.

I have several Sherpa friends who encountered Yetis (Abominable Snowmen) in the Himalaya, and I once even saw a "genuine" Yeti skull myself. (Though it looked a lot like a goat.)

I was kind of hoping Bigfoot would someday reach Yeti status...

... oh well.
