By which you mean, the Declaration of Independence?

Disagree. The Declaration of Independence is a great rant, but the most important US document is the Constitution.

But great Constitutions are meaningless without the rule of law. The Soviet Union had a great constitution, but no way for individuals to enforce it.

In the US, even the smallest and most insignificant person is equal (more or less) in the eyes of the law.

Maybe if we could reanimate and clone the Founding Fathers?
