>>How does one tell whether a leech is fresh or not?<<

Why are you asking me these questions? Do you really want to know?

I read enough to figure out how to tell if a maggot is fresh or not. It is actually fascinating, but I have a very strong stomach.

Maggots seem to be more useful than leeches. Leeches seem to be used primarily in microsurgery. I can't help thinking of John Bobbit, but as they say we won't go there.
