In what way(s)?

I would distrust anyone claiming, for example, that their right to bear arms derives directly from God.

This can still be debated...

Not to be argumentative, but the right to self defense and it follows the right to bear arms derives from being human, and by extension from the Creator. The Second Amendment doesn't grant the right to bear arms.
