I think that you will find out that Muslim dogma is too deeply entrenched to be changed easily or overnight, if at all.

Robert... I have a number of muslim friends and we generally find ourselves in agreement on this issue.

And something tells me that I haven't cornered the market on all available moderate muslims.

The problem is that most are too intimidated to speak up. They know that there are militants who would threaten or harm them or their families.

However, these folks provide a valuable intelligence resource. Whereas before they may have been a bit unwilling to risk their lives to oppose the militants, now they will recognize they have little choice, except to join them...

And joining them is nothing but a path to destruction...

And the "dogma" you seem to be citing, is NOT the dogma that I see. People are people Robert... They want to raise their families, and have a better life than their parents had. They get married, have kids, and can't risk losing it all for the purpose of waging "jihad" (which is a young man's game)..

Besides, their wives generally won't let them.... :0)

I just don't see the majority of muslims wishing to impose their religion, or rule over the rest of the world.

But they have a very noisy and militant minority who seem to capture the media's attention which ignoring Islam's own "silent majority" of moderates.

But please feel free to relate your own experiences with muslims... I'm sure you have a number of muslim friends as well...
