Here's the NY Times review: duke.edu With humans, the amazing thing is not that vast sectors of the population are mired in myth and madness, but that we are not all so afflicted. (Or is it just me, LOL.) Scientifically speaking, there's not much reason for an animal to be rational. I think one of the best arguments for the existence of God is that a creature, who is by nature at best a feces throwing savage, has the capacity to understand and control nature to this extent, and to get along as peacefully with each other as man does. (We're mostly just trash talkers.) -- Carl
