I have not heard that song by Aaron Neville, but will look for it because his voice is so astonishing.

Since you like Aaron Neville and the Grateful Dead, maybe you would like Daniel Lanois? He is French Canadian, and co-produced U2's most recent, All That You Can't Leave Behind.

His first album (I will always call them albums), Acadie, finishes with Aaron Neville singing Amazing Grace.

We seem to have similar tastes -- I wore out a couple of copies of American Beauty.

Looking back on my misspent youth, I wish I had gone to more Grateful Dead concerts.

BTW, when I lived in New Orleans, the Neville Brothers lived around the corner, but on the other side of Magazine Street, which is the New Orleans version of the other side of the tracks in that part of town. Heard them many a time at Tipitina's, within walking distance of my apartment, not that I'd walk in that neighborhood at that time of night.
