Well that's ONE anyway. (g)

John Wayne, what can I say?! Maureen O'Hara, ditto! I'm thinking of making that flick a "Thanksgiving" tradition, I don't know why but it seems kind of Fall-ish to me.

I thought of one more in the "Perfectly Cast" Dept:

"The Last of the Mohicans"

Daniel Day Lewis - Hawkeye
Madeleine Stowe - Cora
Will Studi - Magua
Russell Means - Chingachkuk

Imo the wildly desperate "kissing" scene between Lewis and Stowe was pure poetry. Their parting under the falls, and the relentless pursuit of her captors all accompanied by an exquisite Virginia Reel.... Great Art. All filmed in the mountains of North Carolina. Imo worthy of Wolfram von Eschenbach.
