who on SI called the upturn in Oct... I know no one on the P&S thread... and velociraptor was "gone" (although he made some wishy-washy comment about not shorting at the 1100 level apparently) Personally I think the Oct lows were pretty easy to buy into. It was obviously fairly extreme sentiment... and it was October. Being short this last run was a deathknell for some people... much worse to be short than long when the mkt turns against you to this degree. If there is a self-proclaimed "guru" who successfully was short until Oct (or even July, I went long in July and did well with it since underlying strength picked up then), and then went with a strong long call- I will bookmark that thread. thanks Lizzie
