regarding Israel's apartheid regime - I think you will find the Arab nations much more intolerant of anything other than Islam. Try being a Christian missionary in Saudi Arabia for fun.

US citizens support a $ 400 billion annual budget for weapons of mass destruction

That is not true.

and also support the coming war of
aggression for Irak's oil and strategic territory.

If it was really all about aggression and stealing oil we could have gone for it already. It could have been done at the end of the last war, or under the pretext of any of the many violations of the cease fire agreement that happened over the years. No following of the agreement = no more cease fire. If we were so aggressive and greedy for oil just grabbed Kuwait and get the oil easier, or if we went after Iraq we would be unlikely to go to the UN like we did which will delay any action and possibly the UN will not agree to any action. We could go ahead anyway but it looks worse to ask, get a no and go anyway then it does just to go without asking.

and have supported in the past other heinous crimes like slavery

True a horrible crime but we have not supported it in over 135 years and in the past most of the world supported it.

carpet fire bombings of major european cities

Total war like WWII is indeed hell. A lot of questionable things where done in the effort to win that huge and horrible war.

a Roosevelt-Churchill-Stalin pact to partition Europe giving half of it to the communists

Mostly a recognition of reality. The communists were going to be in control of a lot of Europe after WWII and they where unlikely to want to give it up. I suppose we could have had WWIII start the moment WWII ended but then I suppose you would be complaining about our carpet bombing or nuclear bombing of Russian cities.

more bombings in Vietnam, Korea, etc,

What exactly is your problem with these bombings. We were not leveling cities like we did in WWII even though we easily could have.

blockades that drive thousands to death by
starvation

If you are talking about Iraq, that's mostly Saddam's doing. He is allowed to sell oil for food but would rather starve his people so that he has money to put towards WMD and suffering people to point to to try to make Iraq look like a victim. Also it was imposed as an alternative to going to war when Iraq would not comply with the cease fire agreement. Unfortunately it did not work. If you are talking about Cuba you have a better point except most of the suffering is caused by communism not the embargo, and Cuba does trade with other countries.

Israel's apartheid regime

Israel doesn't have an apartheid regime. They have Arabs in their legislature and in high positions in the military. You would not have seen blacks in the same position in South Africa under apartheid.

Spy, let's not forget that the decision to use the A-bomb was made after the Battle of Okinawa. This is what it cost the US and Japan in military and civilian casualties:

Casualties totaled more than 38,000 Americans wounded and 12,000 killed or missing, more than 107,000 Japanese and Okinawan conscripts killed, and perhaps 100,000 Okinawan civilians who perished in the battle. However, US Army figures for the 82 day campaign showed a total figure of 142,058 civilian casualties, including those killed by artillery fire, air attacks and those who were pressed into service by the Japanese army.

The Japanese had promised to turn Japan into a fortress....what do you think the outcome would have been in terms of lives lost in densely populated Japan had the conventional war continued.

Just one more comment. During our occupation of Japan, when other allies would have been less benevolent, what did we do? One of the most important and long lasting was to write their constitution! That single act was directly responsible for Japans quick recovery, their present economic and political power and for japanese women having their present rights (the ability to vote being among them).

Naziism had to be destroyed by war, because it discriminated(destroyed)against certain groups.

Communism has(is) falling apart because it takes away the initiative from the individual.

Militant Islam will be destroyed through war, because it disregards the rights of non Muslims.

Spytrdr. You said referring to the USA ...." and have supported in the past other heinous crimes like slavery,"......

Any idea where slavery originated? Any idea if any religious groups like muslims still make use of slavery?

<<"In order for us human beings to commit ourselves personally to the inhumanity of war, we find it necessary first to dehumanize our opponents, which is in itself a violation of the beliefs of all religions," he said. "Once we characterize our adversaries as beyond the scope of God's mercy and grace, their lives lose all value."
Carter said this false justification applied not only to terrorists, but also to armed forces that use high-tech weapons. "From a great distance, we launch bombs or missiles with almost total impunity, and never look to know the number or identity of the victims," he told the audience.>>

<<Bush Funds Iran Terrorist group

President George Bush has allocated funds of around 92 million Euros for “defence spending”, namely the donation of funding to six Iraqi opposition groups. One of these, the SCIRI, is based in Iran, a country which Bush accuses of being a member of the Axis of Evil and which he accuses of supporting terrorism and seeking to produce illegal weapons.
Providing weaponry or funds to purchase weaponry to a group which openly professes to conduct a campaign of violence against the Iraqi authorities is an act of international terrorism and interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation.
It is acts such as these which create the monsters that from time to time come back to haunt Washington. The last such creation was the Taleban regime, which mutated from the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan. If Washington continues to globe-trot, creating monsters to perpetrate the acts of violence it chooses to delegate, the end of the film is easy to predict: sooner or later Frankenstein returns to the laboratory to kill the doctor.>>
