BTW, we discussed that inverse H&S here a couple weeks back, and it was concluded (between Justa and Augie) the volume was not supportive of a valid formation on the SOXX chart.

JEFF, you know that I like your posts VERY MUCH! Here are my thoughts.

My comment was prompted by this forecast comparison between Jeff and Zeev:
(1) Top: Jeff 1700-1800; Zeev: 1619
(2) Bottom: Jeff 700-800; Zeev: 950

Regarding AVs:
(1) on weekly 3-year COMP chart we had AVs 2 times during this bear; 8/00 on Full and in 12/01 on Slow:
stockcharts.com[g,a]waclynay[df][pd20,2!f][iLh5,5!Lp14,3,3][J8629806,Y]&pref=G

(2) on daily 3-year COMP chart we had AVs 5 times on Full during this bear; 6/00, 10/00, 5/01, 10/01, 11/02 and about 8 times on Slow; 6/00, 8/00, 12/00, 1/01, 11/01, 12/01, 1/02, 10/02:
stockcharts.com[g,a]daclynay[df][pd20,2!f][iLh5,5!Lp14,3,3][J8629806,Y]&pref=G

So, Jeff, I fully agree that AVs are still very possible on daily/weekly COMP in this rally and if they happen they might take this rally farther, maybe much farther.
So, let's watch for AVs!

Jeff: Re: "so as long as the trend is still bull....bull t/a signals still rule....."

So what do you make of the black oxy at the beginning of the month marking the most recent top?

Re: "and theres potential for weekly AV"

Could you point me to where we have had weekly AV during this bear market? I see maybe one instance. I am looking at this chart:

stockcharts.com[h,a]waclynay[d19991211,20021211][pc9!c13!c20!d20,2!h.02,.20!c50!f][iLa4,9,5!Lh5,5!Li10,10!Lp14,3,3!Ll14!Lo14!Lb14!Le5,10,1]&pref=G

Or does the search for weekly AV relate to you Nikkei concern?

Thanks.

BTW, FWIW, this thread has too much noise. Forgive me for pointing out the obvious <g>.
