Um, Karen, bloggers don't pretend to be news sources. Arab News does. It's a Saudi propaganda sheet.

Now, if you chose, you can believe their protestations that of course the princess was only being charitable when she paid tens of thousands of dollars, month after month, to a Jordanian woman who had told her some medical sob story, who turned the money over to someone else, who by some fantastical chance, just happened to be funding Al Qaeda hijackers. Charity is a super-duper Muslim virtue, yadda, yadda.

You can believe this if you chose. You can also believe in Peter Pan and tooth fairy while you're at it. I will spend my time asking, what did these people have on the princess to shake her down like this?
