Tim....... We all have images of people we meet in cyberspace. Mine was of a man of inetgrity and sincerity. Always an interesting read and at times even an excellent assesment. Temper, yes but combined with a caring for his friends that I found credible and enjoyable.

My last distinct image of him was his description of ground zero at The World Trade Center after Sept. 11th. He said he flew there and volunteered as a helper in removing rubble etc.. Again, I found it credible and moving that someone would do this from 2000 miles away. Was I scammed? Maybe, but somehow I don't think so.

My image of him may have been incorrect, but it was mine, and I will miss him in my cyberspace. This form of communications is amazingly capable of allowing us to form bonds that you would think need physical interaction. I find it odd, somewhat disturbing but also comforting that a person I never physically met could give me such a feeling of loss.

May he rest in peace and may none of us be confronted by whatever demons can drive a person to such depths.

Be well,

Mike

I wondered what happened to him. . . Just stopped all of a sudden. . . At the time, I didn't miss him. . . he always seemed to rub me the wrong way. . . but, that's not hard to do. . . He voiced his opinion regardless of what the outcome would be, which is good & more people should do the same.

I wonder what the outcome of the law suits was. . . did he win / lose, or what?

It's a shame he went the way he did. . . May he rest in peace. . .

Joe

Wow! What a horrible way to end one's life. Sad that money drives people to do such stupid things. Strange, what has become of some of the traders on SI. A@P in jail. Tim Luke dead from an attempted robbery. People need to keep things in perspective. It's only money.

RIP ~Tim Luke~ I know you're looking down on us from heaven.

Tim Luke aka Stefanich, here is an older article in which he spoke honestly about the challenge of trading, I always appreciated that about him.

Tim was a friend of mine..
Here's something from another.

Earrings

by Jane Jackson

Crying is not the only way
To keep your memories here today
But wear these earrings out tonight
And you shall find your thoughts alright

Climb on up the mountainside
Toss your jewels to the river wide
Look up to the stars above
And scream out what you really love

Now take these earrings in your hand
Plant these ornaments in the land
Make a grave about one foot deep
Thank the Lord, then sleep then sleep

Wake up with the morning dawn
That shines its light upon your lawn
Look at what has sprung up there
The earrings you once wore with care

See them rise up to the sun
Watch them cry and laugh for fun
You've been taken by your possessions
The Earth you know is marked deception

You feel pain and could be sick
You are the object of a ghostly trick
Take the dagger by your side
And show the world how you died

Something takes you by the arm
Shows affection, does not harm
Leads you into another world
Where lights are dim and life's unheard

Deep among these walls of Hell
You've got the urge to scream, to yell
For now you see the fire burning
That has your mind a spinning and turning

The devil seen in front of you
Is wearing the earrings you once knew
Take his fork and stick him true
See your ornaments shine on through

Quickly grab the jewels you love
And step up to the light above
Now you enter into day
Your memories return to you to stay

Remember now not to cry
Or you'll renew your dream tonight
For fantasies are alive in your dreams
And not meant to fill your schemes.

....dedicated to the memory of SI poster Tim Luke....
