Unless he had an enormous cottage industry going in his basement and was selling to minors on the school street corner, that part of me doesn't seem to be saying a word except maybe to think again how sad it is when a law seems to do more harm than good. But then, I think our laws on drugs are not practical or efficient or logical.
Still, what you said is certainly the objective, non-compassionate, bottom line.
