Somewhere in the stacks of paper and print matter around the house, I got a dogeared copy of Ted Nelson's original oversize/tiny typewriter font "Computer Lib/ Dream Machines",

Me too!

I devoured this large, double upside down paperback at the time when it was published in the mid-late 70's while I was doing my six-year teaching stint as a Visiting Lecturer in Computer Science and BioEngineering at Cal. I even had occasion to meet a couple of the Zanadu programmers over the years: dreamers all, still, they seemed so dejected...

EDIT: Sorry for all the postings -- I have warm memories of Ted Nelson and I just wanted to present a brief glimpse of his deam-child for those who may not be familiar with his work. I didn't mean to give the appearance of browbeating. :o)
