Hi JohnM; Re the zonder affair, and the difference between "signing" and "ratifying". What with the off topic insults, (i.e. I fear that the fine points of US law are lost upon you #reply-18326416 and I know you live in a beachfront feudal fairyland, but try please. #reply-18328050 ) and the complete ignoring of logical argument, the whole thing reeks of the little boys in "Lord of the Flies". None of these [insert epithet here] were listening to what zonder was actually saying, but instead were building up various strawmen from their imaginations. The primary reason I quote people directly, rather than merely replying to their arguments, is that this forces me to reread what they said. Otherwise it is all too human to have one thing said and another thing heard. -- Carl
