I think it is critical that the president retain the option to do so; else the deterrent effect of nuclear weapons is nonexistent.


You didn't answer my question. Do you think its reasonable to nuke Iraq if Iraq uses nerve gas?

This is the greatest advantage of massive military strength. You can kill military targets without harming innocents.

If this were true, why did the Israelis take out a mother and two of her three small children in a recent attack on a refugee camp?
